This upbeat, folksy, modern Tibetan song was composed as a praise song to God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Most Tibetans see themselves as Buddhists, but these days a small but growing number are placing their trust in Jesus. The trinity is a very new concept.
You could try singing along in English. An English translated text has been written for this reason. In this version, Ngawang Silas' soaring voice and contemporary arrangement lifts the words off the page. At the same time, you can still detect hints of the traditional Tibetan 6-string lute (dramnyen).
