The CD Döyang Pü Shi was released in 2000 after an 8-year project of composition, collation, translation and recording of 100 worship songs. Over half of these are Tibetan original songs composed by Tibetan believers and a few expatriate musicians. The co-ordinator of this project and songwriter is a WEC musician. The melody represents an Eastern Central Tibetan style.

One instrument featured on these two CDs is a 6-stringed, long-necked plucked lute called a dramnyen and is a favourite instrument of Tibetans. It is played on many social occasions especially in connection with folk dance. Unlike the well-known long horn, the dramnyen is almost never played in the Buddhist monasteries or at religious functions.
