This beautiful song of personal devotion was first composed in Spanish, and was featured on the Hechas Nuevas ("New Creation") CD by Arco Iris de Esperanza (WEC's Rainbows of Hope ministry in Spain). The Spanish version is track 5 on Many Voices One Song, WEC's first CD.

The more recent English version is more of a paraphrase than a literal translation. South African Marina Du Toit sings the English part, while Sacry Moríňigo Sánchez sings the Spanish section. Paul says, "Their voices blend just right".
