Isn’t this good news?

This Thai track is taken from a CD of Thai worship music. The words and music were written by staff at FEBC Thailand. Georgina Stott, a WEC missionary, is the Director of FEBC Radio International in Bangkok. She has inspired and encouraged the production of this CD. Georgina says, 'I was involved with recording ethnic music in my first week in Tak about 35 years ago. I didn’t speak a word of Thai then but I could put melody in for the songs we were listening to, writing out and recording Thai and foreign instruments together. I am still in the recording business and encouraging new songs.'

More information about this Thai CD and copies of it can be obtained by contacting FEBC Thailand.

There is also an interesting article published in Mission Frontier (June 2001) called 'What happened when Grandma danced' about Christian worship in Isaan Thai culture.
