The Psalms in the Bible tell us to "sing a new song to the Lord. An Arts Release team from the UK is heading to Portugal to help some churches to do just that, to write their own new songs!
The song writing workshops are called “Express Yourself” (“Expressa-Te”! in Portuguese) and are designed to help churches create songs that will more fully represent the churches' different musical voices from Africa, Brazil and Portugal, so that unity with diversity can truly be expressed. The team are also hoping to do art and play multicultural music in places like cafés!
