We are inviting artists to contribute original artworks for a series of postcard-sized art cards that will be used as a resource for WEC and Arts Release community outreach programmes.
This is an invaluable opportunity to use your art to help create meaningful connections and conversations with those who have little or no exposure to the Gospel.
Selected artworks will be printed as postcards and made available for use in outreach settings. More details and specifications for artworks are in the pdf file attached below.
You can submit your work at this link by 31 August 2026:

About the Project
Selected artworks will be printed as postcards and made available for use in outreach settings. The cards are intended to engage people through visual storytelling and reflection, often in sensitive contexts and therefore:
- Images should be suitable for a broad audience and encourage conversation.
- Images that are explicitly Christian are discouraged, for example: the cross, angels, a crown of thorns, the nativity.
- Artwork should not contain any words or text within the image itself.
- Cards may be produced in either portrait or landscape orientation using a 2:3 ratio.
- Examples of previous postcards can be viewed on the Art Cards for Mission Instagram page here:
https://www.instagram.com/artcardsformission/
Please note:
- Submission of artwork does not guarantee selection.
- A review process will be undertaken, and only selected works will be produced as postcards.
- The postcards are not for sale.
- Artists will not receive remuneration for selected works.
- Permission is not granted for third parties to reproduce or commercially use your artwork beyond this project.
Submission Requirements
Please submit:
- A high-resolution digital image, preferably:
- 300 dpi or higher
- Highest-quality JPEG or flattened TIFF format
- If the original artwork is physical, a scanned image is preferred over a photograph of the artwork.
- An optional explanation of 75–150 words describing the artwork and/or inspiration behind it, for posting on @artcardsformission Instagram.
We would also love to know whether you are comfortable with your artwork being shared online as part of the project. If you have an Instagram account, please include your handle so we can credit you where appropriate.
