Come with us to celebrate how the arts help us take intentional steps towards others and God, creating a sense of relationship and fellowship. We will hear from four people at the front line of engaging with communities in the Middle East, England and Singapore, physically and online.
Anna is a creative practitioner who has worked with Saltmine Theatre Co. She is currently in the Middle East working in the area of Poetry and Spoken Word — crossing the secular and religious divide. Anna will share exciting projects, what God is doing and how she is sharing with people through poetry.
Vicki has set up Endeavour 831, a creative arts organization with a focus on the performing arts. She has worked closely with field experts, performing on the status of women, as part of the UN Commission. She says, “all of our work is driven from a passion to seek justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with God.”
Tun I and Amy have developed online Creative Studios. The model Tun I established in 2020 has attracted attention, with many seeking to connect with God through the arts during the first waves of the coronavirus pandemic. This has now multiplied into eight online studios, hosted in six countries and in several languages, while the vision has expanded into equipping and outreach.
